We are competing for three different things:

1. Prize Payout

Earnings by player for 1st and additional positions for each tournament:

2. Points System

Points earned for playing individual tournaments based on number of players. At the end of the year the person with the most accumulated points wins while other top contenders compete for available additional WSOP seats.

3. Per-Tournament Points

In addition to the above points, which are awarded based on your individual tournament play, each player will receive 5 bonus points and 50 playoff chips for simply attending each tournament.
